Going quite well actually! I’ve been really busy with a lot of production stuff that’s been going on. Getting my hair layered sometime soon, hanging around friends and family, so it’s all good. =) I am definitely looking forward to Thanksgiving (sorry, I know you obviously don’t celebrate it, since Americans, well, celebrate settling a new community away from the Brits)

I love all dogs - but there is a special place in my heart for bassets. I had 2 different ones growing up, one of which was best friends with our box turtle. I even have a basset hound coffee mug that I got as a present a few years ago. Such sweet, lazy creatures. That must be why we get along so well.
Today, while blow drying my hair, I noticed that the warning label on my dryer says in bright red print “DO NOT OPERATE WHILE SLEEPING.” I am still wondering what people have done to make this necessary. MLIA.

Awkward moment for my friend today
- So my friend parks her car in the last spot open next to a parking meter. She sees a guy waiting beside it.
- Friend: Excuse Me.
- Guy: Oh, sorry.
- My friend then realizes she left something in her car and goes around to the trunk to go retrieve it. She sees a young woman approach the guy.She gets a phone call and talks for a few seconds. She then goes to the meter.
- Girl: I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but it's not going to work out. (The guy is getting a little teary-eyed)
- Friend: *awkward silence* umm, sorry but I need to pay the meter here . . .
- *couple continues to stand there, staring at each other*
- My friend ended up leaving and walking a few blocks.
